How does the route planner work?
Pick your EV and a route, then the planner applies real-world consumption factors — speed, temperature and season — to compute how far you get per charge. It then spaces fast-charging stops so you arrive with a safe buffer.
How many charging stops do I need on a long trip?
It depends on your EV's range and the weather. A 600 km trip in a 400 km-range EV typically needs 1-2 stops in summer and 2-3 in winter. The planner computes stops for your exact car and route.
Where should I plan my charging stops?
Use the map to find stations near the computed stop distances. Look for 150 kW+ chargers and, ideally, one with a backup within 20 km in case it's full or broken.
Should I charge to 100% before a long trip?
Yes, for the first leg. Charge to 100% at home before leaving, then stop at 80% at fast chargers — the last 20% charges slowly and wastes time.
