EV comparison FAQ
How do I use the EV comparator?
Pick up to four vehicles from the dropdowns, or use the quick-add buttons. Every spec row highlights the best value in green, and computed rows such as real range, efficiency, charging time and estimated annual running cost appear automatically.
Why compare more than one electric vehicle?
Spec sheets only tell part of the story. Side-by-side comparison reveals which car, scooter or e-bike actually wins on your priorities - price, real range, charging speed, performance or running costs - before you test-drive anything.
Which spec matters most when comparing EVs?
For most buyers it is real-world range versus your daily distance, then charging speed, efficiency (kWh/100 km) and total cost of ownership. Our comparator shows all of these plus price per km of range, so you can see which model delivers the most value per dollar.
Can I compare cars with scooters or e-bikes?
Yes. The comparator covers electric cars, scooters, e-bikes, motorcycles and mopeds. Use the type filter to stay within a category, or compare across categories to decide between a second car and a micro-mobility alternative.
Are the figures real or estimates?
Prices, ratings and official specs come from our vehicle database. Range and efficiency are derived from official figures where available, and running-cost estimates use a typical $0.15/kWh tariff at 15,000 km per year - your actual numbers may differ.
