United States

Canada
Federal iZEV rebate for vehicles under the price cap. Some provinces add their own incentive.
United Kingdom
Most purchase grants have ended. Benefits remain: lower road tax, congestion charge exemptions in some cities.
France
Bonus écologique for new EVs under the price cap. Social leasing for low-income households.
Germany
The Umweltbonus purchase grant ended in Dec 2023. Tax benefits and lower running costs remain.
Netherlands
No purchase grant, but company-car tax benefits and lower road tax are significant.
Norway
VAT exemption on new EVs (25% saved) — effectively the biggest EV subsidy in the world.
China
Purchase subsidies ended; benefits now focus on tax exemption for NEVs. Local city incentives vary.
