Checking the Fuse
Always switch the ignition off and disconnect the power source before touching the fuse. Pull the fuse out and hold it up to the light. If the metal link is broken or melted the fuse has blown. Test across the two prongs with a multimeter set to continuity: a good fuse reads near zero ohms, an open reading confirms it is dead.
Step-by-Step Replacement
- Switch the ignition off and isolate the circuit.
- Open the relevant fuse panel and find the Radio / infotainment fuse using the lid diagram.
- Pull the fuse with a fuse puller and inspect the link.
- Fit a new fuse with the exact same 15 A rating. Never use a higher rating.
- Re-test the Radio / infotainment before replacing the cover.
