Wipers Stop Mid-Sweep

The wipers move partway then stop and do not return to park.

The wiper motor loses supply or the park switch circuit is faulty.

Suggested test plan

1. Check fuse and relay.
2. Measure supply at the motor during stall.
3. Disconnect the linkage and test the motor alone.
4. Repair the linkage or replace the motor.

Safety: 12 V systems are low voltage but can still cause burns and fire. Disconnect the battery before working on wiring and never short a battery terminal.

Wiper faults are often mechanical. Disconnecting the linkage separates a binding mechanism from an electrical motor fault.
